Dear YUCS User --

The YUCS Administrators would like to thank all of you for the continued 
support over the past 7 years.

Over the next two weeks YUCS will be relocating to a new home. During this 
time period various services that YUCS provides such as email, web sites, 
and shell accounts will be inaccessible at times.

During the periods of inaccessibility all mail to user accounts will be 
spooled for later delivery or delivered to another host.

It may also be necessary to limit all access to email to pop3/imap access 
for a short period of time.

It will not be possible to forward your incoming mail during this time.

Your web site will be offline during this time as well as any site that 
YUCS hosts.

It is our hope that DNS services will continue to function but this may 
not be the case.

You may need to access your old INBOX via a new spool file due to steps 
the YUCS Administrators may need to take in order to bring the machine 
back online.

If this becomes the case then instructions will be posted in the MOTD or 
sent out in email.

The YUCS Board as well as the YUCS Admins will stay in touch with the 
users through the http://jcate.sixbit.org web site. The status of the 
move, information about how to access your email, in addition to any 
changes will be posted on that site.

The YUCS Administrators apologize for sorrow/hurt/pain/stress this move 
might cause you and your email. We hope to deal with any issues that may 
arise in an expediant fashion and with the minimal amount of downtime.
